Cardiff - Ebbw Vale

Cardiff entertain Ebbw Vale this weekend (Saturday) at the Arms Park (2:30pm) looking to extend their winning run to five games.

The team sees several changes and with players coming back from injury Head Coach Steve Law has shuffled the pack this week. "We were pleased with the team’s reaction to what was wrong in the first half last week" he says "and the way the team put the issues right in the second half. The team have again worked hard in training this week and with some changes in the team there is an opportunity for players to put their hands up for selection over the next few weeks."

In the back line Will Rees-Hole, Pat Lewis and Ben Thomas remain from last week and Owen Lane switches from wing to centre with Jack Roberts with the Blues this week. Llywarch Ap Myrddin, Ceri Young and Rhodri Cole filling in the gaps.

Up front Ian Jenkins starts at hooker following his debut off the bench last weekend. James Sheekey moves up a row to partner Ben White with Sion Bennett starting his first game in Blue & Black at No8.

On the bench there is a welcome return to the squad for Jack Phillips following his injury.
