Match Preview

Cardiff - Swansea

Cardiff entertain Swansea on Friday night (19:10) looking to extend their winning streak to nine games.

Last week’s 59-17 win at Neath kept the Blue & Blacks in third place in the league. Head Coach Steve Law commented ‘there was plenty for us to work on following the game. We worked hard in the first half and built a lead. That lead was eroded as we made too many mistakes in the early stages of the second half.

Having said that we were pleased with a bonus point win. This week we have worked hard on those problems in training and will be looking to transfer that hard work to the pitch against a Swansea side that will be coming here on a high after two good wins. We need to perform at our best to record a victory

Swansea are one of the most improved sides in recent weeks as their win over Bargeod showed. They are capable of scoring from anywhere on the field and we will need to be aware of the attacking threat that the All Whites pose."
