Cardiff came from ten points down to secure a share the spoils at Cardiff Arms Park. Dai Flanagan had given the Ravens an early lead with two penalties before Cardiff got on the board. A flowing move up the field ended with Ben Phillips slipping a pass out of the tackle to Macauley Cook who went over in the corner.
The Ravens then took control of the game as Flanagan added another penalty and converted their first try when the home side forgot to tackle, allowing Luke Morgan to cross under the posts. Then Ross Jones was on the end of a move that had Jamie Murphy bursting up the middle to create an overlap to extend the lead. Cardiff dragged themselves back into the game when Chris Bundy charged up the field only for the ball to go into touch. From the lineout though Cardiff stole the ball and shunted Dan Crimmins over, Gareth Davies added the extras for a half time 15-21 score-line.
The second half saw more of the attacking rugby that the first had given. Flanagan extended the visitors lead before Tom Williams outpaced the defence to bring the home side back into contention. But when Kristian Phillips scored for the visitors and Flanagan converted the game looked up for the Blue & Blacks. But Gareth Davies landed a penalty before substitute Joe Griffin scored with his first touch of the ball after a break by Matthew John giving the home side a share of the points.
