Llandovery continued their winning streak against Cardiff win an emphatic win at the Arms Park

The Drovers got on the board early with two penalties by Cerith Rees before Cardiff replied with one of their own by Joe Griffin. The visitors extended that lead with a well worked try by Chris Knight. And it was Knight who grabbed a brace within two minutes.

The home side were down to fourteen and when space appeared wide he was able to slide over in the corner. Cardiff’s day got worse when a charge down led to the Drovers third by Owen Evans to send the visitors in 33-3 up

Cardiff’s effort was better in the second half, but the damage was already done. Llandovery earned the bonus point through a Phil Day try, Lee Rees added a fifth before outstanding back row Richard Brooks got reward for his work with the teams sixth

Cardiff did manage three tries in the second half, Reuben Tucker scored  under the posts following a Thomas Young break. The second try was the result of persistent pressure. Adam Williams pouncing on a loose to put Matt Smith in. Tucker got his second as he went over from short range. The referee was unsighted, but his assistant gave him the nod. Griffin converted two of the tries,  but it wasn’t enough for the Blue  Blacks to get anything out of the game.
