Over the next couple of weeks the Cardiff RFC website will look at the squad for the new season. Starting this week we look at the back three, fullbacks and wings.
From last season’s squad the following players have been retained
Dan Fish
Dan played for both Cardiff RFC and Cardiff Blues last season, he was also in the Wales 7s squad that competed at Glasgow and Twickenham. Dan earned his club cap for twenty games last season.

Will Jones
Will was one of the stars of Cardiff University’s winning of the Welsh varsity match in May, he had limited time on the field in Blue & Black but when given his opportunity he showed what a talented finisher he is.

Tom Williams
Tom matched a long standing Cardiff RFC record last season when he took Tonmawr apart on his own, scoring 6 tries in a game. Comfortable at either wing or full back he will be looking to go one try better this season. Tom also earned his club cap for twenty games last season.

Steve joins us from Bridgend, a natural try scorer on the wing, Steve will provide the Blyue & Balcks with even more finishing power.

Joe has through the Blues Age grade teams to join up with Cardiff Last season he was with Glamorgan Wanderers and makes the move down Western Avenue to the Arms Park.

Tom Daley
Tom is an exciting player who has plenty of ‘gas’. Earlier this year he showed his pace during the Caerphilly sevens scoring some scorching tries. Another player who has come across from the Wanderers.

Jamie Davies
Jamie was part of the Welsh All Blacks set up last season and represented Crawsahys at the end of the season. Jamie scored 6 times during his 22 appearances for Neath.
