Cardiff - Cross Keys

By Ian Tabor | 15/09/2017

Cardiff entertain Cross Keys on Saturday at the Arms Park (13:00) looking to extend their unbeaten start to the season.

Head Coach Steve Law though is looking to keep feet firmly planted on the ground. ‘It’s a relatively happy place to be at the moment” he says “but there is still plenty of work to do. The team will need to put in the effort on Saturday against what we know will be an organised and dangerous Keys side. We have to also remember that as a group we have only been together for nine weeks. There is still a lot of work to be done but the performances are getting better each time and we have been working hard on our tactics over the last few weeks”

“It’s also great to see players returning to the squad, James Sheekey, Owen Lane from injury and James Murphy. And another bonus as a coach to have options in most positions, and being able to start the World Cup Under 18s Player of the Tournament - Ben Thomas -  at 10 is a real bonus. We have also drafted in some experience on the bench in Ian Jenkins who was in the opposition side last weekend”

The game kicks off at 13:00 due to the Blues game later that day and supporters are reminded that entrance will only be through the Quay St side of the ground for this game.
