Llandovery - Cardiff

Cardiff travel to Church Bank Llandovery on Saturday hoping to carry the form of the second half from last week into the game with the Drovers.

Last Friday against Merthyr the team gained a losing bonus point having looked out of the game at half time. In fact the Blue & Blacks won the second half 17-3. Church Bank though is not an easy place to go and win. The Drovers have not lost at home this season and Cardiff will be looking to be the first side to down their colours there this season.

Head Coach Steve Law said "the squad are looking forward to the game and continuing to build on what was a very good second half performance from last week. The coaching staff were pleased with the commitment shown in that 40 minutes where we were by far the better side against the league leaders, stopping them getting a bonus point also showed that defensively we were very solid. Llandovery though are a very experienced side and we will need to play for eighty minutes to come away with a result."

The side shows several changes from last week with Dan Fish, Will Rees-Hole and Lewis Jones coming into the starting backline. Rory Pitman gets a first start in Blue & Black following two replacements appearances, there is also a welcome return to the pack for James Down in the second row.
