Bridgend - Cardiff

By Ian Tabor | 15/11/2018

Cardiff travel to Bridgend on Friday night looking to extend their winning run in the Premiership to seven.

Having recorded a win last Friday in front on the TV cameras (for nearly all the match) the Blue & Blacks make a few changes to the side that won 25-19. Head Coach Steve Law said of that game we were very pleased with our performance on Friday night in a high quality match against very good opposition. In the first half we showed plenty of character in defence when RGC put us under immense pressure, and that is down to this group of players growing together as a team.

In the second half we changed the way we played and used the advantages we had, especially up front, to push ourselves forward for the win we deserved. We will need all of that to come to the fore on Friday night against a Bridgend side that does not lose too many times at the Brewery Field.

We have shown our ambitions in adding to the strength of our squad this week, Ed Howley and Scott Gibson having joined us. Both are included in the squad this week having trained well."
