Malcolm Dacey was born in Swansea 12 July 1960.
When historians reminisce about the Welsh conveyor belt of world class fly-halves the name of Malcolm Dacey will perhaps not be mentioned but the fly-half was nevertheless a player of skill, imagination and bravery.
Dacey played his club rugby for Bonymaen RFC, Swansea RFC, Cardiff RFC and Pontypool RFC
He gained 15 Welsh Caps between 1983-1987 making his debut in the 1983 Five Nations Championship against England.
He made one non capped appearance against Japan in 1993, a match in which he scored a try.
Dacey also made an appearance for the British and Irish Lions, coming on as a replacement against an Overseas XV in 1986.He also represented Wales B team and the Barbarians.
