Two brothers who played for Cardiff. C R Davies and Selby Davies were products of Cardiff High School Old Boys.
C R Davies played an odd first team game for the club in 1929/30 and five in 1934/35. He gained a Welsh cap as a Prop against England in 1934,he has assisted the R.A.F, Bedford and London Welsh.
Selby, a lively back row forward, played for the club prior to and after World War 11 with 105 first team matches to his credit.
He played in one 7s game for the club in 1939.
Always good for a "turn" on away or tour matches, he could play a trumpet -without a trumpet!
