Ned Jenkins was an international rugby union lock who represented Wales and played club rugby for Aberavon, Kenfig Hill, Cardiff, and Bridgend RFC. He was

born in Tonyrefail in 1904.

He played three games for Cardiff in 1923/24 before moving onto Aberavon for several seasons and he would later captain them. Jenkins gained 21 Welsh caps,

making his debut against Scotland in Cardiff 1927. He also played for Glamorgan County RFC and Glamorgan Police RFC.
