David Glyn Jones known as Doctor Glyn at the Arms Park played for Cardiff 1945/46 - 1946/47.
Born in Aberdare on December 20th 1920, he was educated at Monmouth School & was in 6th form at Church Village before studying medicine at Cardiff University. Whilst playing for Cardiff he scored 28 tries in 30 games for the club. Glyn played for Wales against France in 1945 & England & Ireland in 1946. He went into the RAF then moved to Sheffield in 1949 followed by Glasgow in 1956 where he passed away in 2008.
