Edward Llewellyn Treharne was a Welsh rugby union forward who played for Pontypridd and Cardiff and international rugby for Wales.

He was born in Ystradfodwg, Wales in 1862 and educated at Cowbridge Grammar School and later studied Medicine at St Barts.

Treharne gained two caps for Wales, winning his first (whilst playing for Pontypridd) in 1883 against England. He went to the game as a spectator and was pulled out of the crowd when it was discovered Wales were short of a few players.
