Gloucester born Kevin Dunn was born in 1965. He attended Churchdown School in the city and after leaving there became a bricklayer. Before joining Gloucester, he played for local sides Spartans and Lydney.
Although he was on the bench twice for England (Australia 1989 and Canada 1991) did not actually play in a full international although he gained 17 caps for England 'A', and played for England 'B' in a 1993 tour to New Zealand. Kevin left Gloucester in 1992 to join Wasps making 68 appearances between 1992 and 1997.
After this he joined Bristol for a season (making 12 appearances) before joining Cardiff and making only one appearance before breaking his hand.
In 2000 Dunn teamed up with ex Newport coach Paul Turner at Webb Ellis Road, home of the Rugby Lions, as forwards coach.
