Centre Charles Tauwhanga (Ike) Proctor (born 1921 in Pawarenga, New Zealand) played for Cardiff in 1945/46. A former Māori, he turned to Rugby League playing for Warrington, Leeds, Wigan and Halifax. After his playing days were over Ike returned to New Zealand with his English wife. He died in Auckland in 2010 at the age of 88.
