Morgan Williams  was born April 17th,1976 in Kingston, Ontario. A  Cold Harbour, Nova Scotia native, Williams played two  games for Cardiff in 1998/99 season both as a replacement scrum half against Bedford Blues & Bath respectively in February 1999.

Williams played 56 tests for Canada and made his debut at the age of 23 scoring two tries against France in the 1999 Rugby World Cup. He captained Canada in 2005 also played 7s for them in the 2001 World Cup & Commonwealth 7s. Retired from International rugby after the 2007 World Cup.

He has also played for Bordeaux Beagles, Stade Francais and Saracens. In 2009 Morgan was announced as the head coach of the Canadian rugby sevens team.
