Gwyn Thomas was a Welsh rugby union and professional rugby league player of the 1910s and '20s, playing invitational rugby union for the Barbarians and club level for Cardiff & London Welsh. He played three games for Cardiff in 1912/13 before joining London Welsh.
Gwyn turned to rugby league and played at club level for Wigan & Huddersfield and representative level for Great Britain, Wales, and other Nationalities. He gained two caps for Wales RL, played nine times for Great Britain and once for Other Nationalities. Played for the Barbarians against South Africa in November 1915 during World War 1.
