Gethin Edwards

Gethin Edwards

Position: Flyhalf

Gethin Edwards was a fly-half who played 17 games for Cardiff between 1971 and 1973, scoring one try, and brother of the famous Gareth Edwards. On his club debut, against Bristol at Sophia Gardens, in September 1971 he emulated his brother’s feat by scored a drop goal but went one better than him by also scoring a try. In 1972 Gethin was part of the touring party that visited Rhodesia, but later that year transferred to Neath.
