Alban Davies, fullback, was a Welsh rugby union and league player of the 1930s and 1940s.
He joined Cardiff in 1938/39 from Cross Keys, a brilliant full-back prospect. After playing one game for Cardiff he went "North" to play rugby league for Huddersfield, and whilst there he represented Wales RL in two internationals 1943-1946.
