Adrian Turnbull

Adrian Turnbull

Position: Scrumhalf

Adrian Turnbull, a storming scrum half, was very restricted in his appearances for Cardiff due to business commitments. He was one of six brothers to play for Cardiff, playing from 1937 to 1947. Appearing 37 times for the 'Rags', he only played eight first team games. It was generally recognised that he would have gained more honours had he been able to devote more time to the game and had it not been for the intervention of war.

Adrian Turnbull died in Claro, North Yorkshire in 1995 at the age of 77.
